Symsoft publish new ‘Core Network as a Service’ (CNaaS) whitepaper

New paper explores how the Telecom landscape is changing and the ‘as-a-service’ trend is set to provide a competitive edge for Communication Service Providers.

Symsoft AB, the operator division of CLX Communications AB (Publ) (XSTO:CLX) today launch a new paper examining how the introduction of Cloud Services will change the traditional telecom landscape.

‘CNaaS: The Exciting New Cloud Service Alternative to a Traditional Mobile Core Network’, reviews potential use cases for the ‘as-a-service’ model for the Telecom industry, and discusses the ways that CNaaS can be used by Communication Service Providers to further their digital transformation and stay ahead of the telco innovation curve.

The paper explores some of the many benefits that introducing a CNaaS model can provide. The key finding being that an ‘as-a-service’ model can enable operators to focus on what they do best; developing customer relationships and service/product innovation, whilst the traditional network operators focus on the heavy lifting and costly investment of the infrastructure development and maintenance.

Leif Östling, CTO at Symsoft, and author of the paper explains, ‘CNaaS has the ability to support operators that want to embrace a rapid and efficient digital transformation with reduced risks – providing a new edge for unforeseen opportunities further down the road.’
