Emergency services added to robust service offerings

CHICAGO — Inteliquent, a leading provider of communications services, unveils a suite of highly resilient services to modernize emergency communications between our service provider customers and the public safety infrastructure. Inteliquent is employing the breadth and depth of our intelligent network, our operational expertise, and our knowledge of next generation emergency services needs to bring these services to market.

The Inteliquent Emergency Services 911 Gateway offers service providers transport and delivery of 911 calls to public safety answering points (PSAPs) nationwide. Customers gain efficiencies by leveraging Inteliquent’s national scale and expertise to manage the transition from legacy to modern networks and achieve synergies by removing under-utilized and expensive selective router connectivity expenses.

The 911 gateway with nomadic location (VoIP positioning center or VPC) service is a comprehensive 911 address management, call routing and delivery service building upon the 911 gateway. Paired with Inteliquent’s inbound voice services, providers can get their phone numbers and 911 service from the same vendor, removing complexities and making it easy to do business.

Next generation 911 ESINet gateway is Inteliquent’s solution for government entities migrating to next generation 911 (NG911), providing a simple and unified approach to aggregation of 911 calls and delivery to NG911 systems. The ESINet gateway provides a NENA consistent, simplified interconnection for service providers, enabling a timely, cost-effective and accelerated transition to NG911.

Inteliquent’s general manager and chief operating officer of emergency services, Chandy Ghosh said, “We’re excited to announce three of the most sought after and reliable emergency services which will support our customers and their end-users, with additional products on the horizon. Our solutions are deployed in a redundant, diverse and resilient configuration to ensure a high level of availability.”

Inteliquent will present at NENA’s NG911 Standards and Best Practices Conference being held in Orlando, FL from January 15 to 18, 2018.
