Where The Hell Are You is a new app developed the Austrian Startup Three Bee Peas, that enables location sharing with voice calls.
With this app, users can call each other with the added feature of location sharing during the time of the call. This is great for meeting up with friends or setting meeting points in busy places like festivals.
Sinch spoke with Peter from Three Bee Peas to learn more about how they use Sinch in their app.
Where The Hell Are You uses the Sinch SDK for the VoIP calling functionality of the app, and another tool for the location based sharing. Using our VoIP API, users can call each other with data calling, with the added feature of sharing their location directly in the app. “Sinch and voice calling were at the heart of our app from the very beginning” Peter told us and so this grew very organically.
Where The Hell Are You originally prototyped with the Sinch SDK when it was known as the Rebtel SDK, and transitioned when Sinch launched.
We pretty much stayed in contact with Sinch during our core development phase and we always felt supported in our development
“Number verification and messaging is also something we have on our roadmap for the future” Peter told us.
The app is currently available for Android and you can download the app from the Google Play Store. An iOS version is coming in the next 3-4 weeks.
