Swedbank is one of the largest banks in Sweden with more than 9.5 million retail customers and 600,000 corporate accounts.
Using the Sinch SMS API, Swedbank sends fleet management notifications to the 15,000 drivers of its company cars.
We spoke with Robert Bergman, head of fleet management at Swedbank, to learn more about their use of Sinch.
“We manage a very large fleet of vehicles, all of which need mileage reports competed monthly.
This becomes a logistics issue when trying to make sure that all drivers remember to complete their paperwork and send it back to us.
We needed a simple to use notifications system that would work for all drivers, and ultimately work in the background, stress free.”
With this, their system sends SMS reminders, once a month to their drivers, something which has saved Robert and his team countless hours and cost savings.
Robert picked Sinch to build a SMS reminder service and solve this issue.
“The Sinch SMS API was really easy to implement and did just what I needed”
