At a time when technological advancements across industries are moving faster than ever, the process for finding rental housing stays relatively stagnant. Though there are useful marketplaces like the Craigslists of the world, there are few resources dedicated exclusively to rental housing. Enter Qasa, the marketplace that aims to change the rental housing industry for the better.
I recently chatted with Qasa’s co-founder Mattia Tosti, to learn more about the innovative platform. Here’s how Qasa works: Qasa’s unique algorithm matches prospective tenants with landlords who have vacancies of interest. Quite simply, Qasa lets the data do the matching, ensuring successful long-term housing agreements.
In any marketplace, real-time communications is an essential component to ensuring completed transactions. Qasa built a chat platform for users to connect with each other, and further integrated SMS with the Sinch SMS API, to send users SMS notifications and encourage them to complete the process. Mattia added, “It’s working really well!”
Headquartered in Stockholm, a rental market that is particularly complicated and highly regulated, Qasa has experienced great success at an early stage. Mattia shared with me that Qasa plans to expand to other European markets in the near future.
Renters and landlords take note and bookmark Qasa for when you plan to make your next move or expect to have a vacancy!
