What's the difference between native push notifications and in-app messages?
Native push notifications appear as small, pop-up messages on a mobile device even when a user isn’t actively using an app. They are quite basic and can include text, emojis, and links only. They can be used for reminders, transactional updates, marketing promotions, and more.
In-app push messages appear to users when they are actively using an app. The format of these push messages can be richer and may include media, cards, carousels, and engaging content.
And the good thing is that with Sinch Push you can enable both!

Why are push notifications important?
It's quite simple really! Mobile push notifications are the first thing users see when they pick up their phone, so it's your chance to create transactional and marketing opportunities for your customers, while driving engagement and retention.
With web push notifications and in-app messages, you're also top of mind and can promote engagement and action by users.
