2016 is here and so is one of the top startup events and hackathons. From the 26-28 of February 2016 the LAUNCH Hackathon fires up in San Francisco, California.
The 48 hour competition to create a new startup and be able to get a piece of the $1m investment, attracts 1,000 developers and designers split in 250 teams competing to be amongst the top seven. These seven get the chance to present their business idea in two minutes, on the main stage during Friday’s LAUNCH Festival, in front of an impressive jury.
This year’s jury is Adeo Ressi, investor and founder of TheFunded, Cyan Banister, investor and founder of Zivity.com, Don Dodge, advocate for Google, Gigi Brisson who is a big investor, Mark Pesce, who is an known author and futurist, and entrepreneur and LAUNCH host Jason Calacanis.
The top businesses that impress these judges will get an invite to the LAUNCH Incubator together with a $250,000 investment. Sounds interesting?
